WELCOME TO OUR NURTURING YOGA COMMUNITY!
To preserve our yoga studio’s integrity and keep each other safe, here are a few house rules:
Class Sign-Up & Arrival
- Sign-Up Window: Reserve your class at least 1 hour in advance—our studio hosts 28 spots total.
- Arrival Time: Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in.
- Practice Room Access: In an effort to maintain a calm and grounded energy, the practice room will remain closed until 10 minutes before class starts.
- If you arrive earlier, you’re warmly welcome to wait in our cozy lobby, browse the lending library, or enjoy a few quiet moments in our community space.
- Injuries or Limitations: Always inform your instructor of any concerns before class begins.
- Shoes: Please remove footwear at the entrance and store them in the lobby cubbies.
Studio Etiquette
- Minimal Belongings: Bring only what you need. There’s limited storage, so keep items like phones, wallets, and keys with you or use hooks to hang items.
- Quiet Space: Keep conversations in the practice room to a minimum before class to allow students to center themselves.
- Mat Placement: Use the gold circle marker on the floor to guide your mat placement, ensuring space for everyone.
Props & Equipment
- Bring Your Own: We encourage you to bring your own yoga mat and props.
- Studio Props: Bolsters, straps, blocks, and other props are available for use.
- Rental Mats: Yoga mats are available to rent for $2 per class. Please clean them before returning.
Health & Wellness
- Sanitizer: Hand sanitizing stations are available. Please use them upon entering and leaving the studio.
- Feeling Sick? If you feel sick, have flu-like symptoms, or any respiratory issues, please stay home to rest. For health-related concerns, consult your doctor.
- Stay Safe: We prioritize your health and wellness, and ask that you be mindful of others.
General Information
- Clothing: Wear comfortable, appropriate, breathable clothing for your practice.
- Food & Drink: No food or open containers allowed in the practice room. Bring a reusable water bottle—we have a water station available.
- Restrooms: We have two restrooms available for changing.
- Discounts: We offer 10% discounts for students (with valid ID), military members, veterans, and seniors. This applies to drop-ins, class passes, and unlimited memberships (not including the First-Time Unlimited Month offer).
Class Sign-Up & Cancellations
- Pre-Registration: Pre-registration is required as class sizes are limited.
- Cancellations: If you can’t attend, please cancel at least 90 minutes before class to free up your spot. Cancellation requests must be made by email to: theevolvemindset@gmail.com
or by calling 860.799.6105.- No Show: Failure to cancel will result in a deduction from your class pass.
New Students
- Waiver: New students must sign a waiver before attending their first class. This can be done when you arrive or electronically via your MindBody account.
- Minors: Our classes are designed for students 14 years of age and older, generally they have the physical maturity to engage in most yoga poses and sequences safely. Students under 18 must have a parent/guardian’s signature on the waiver.
Class Passes
- 5 & 10 Class Passes: These are valid for 3 months (5 Class Pass) or 5 months (10 Class Pass) from the date of activation. Unused classes will be forfeited after the expiration date.
- Refund Policy: All class passes are final sale and are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
Unlimited Membership Plans
- No Refunds/Transfers: There are no refunds or transfers for unlimited monthly memberships.
- Automatic Payment: Memberships are charged automatically each month. If payment is 5 days overdue, your membership will be suspended.
- Cancellation: You can cancel your membership at anytime.
- Freeze Option: You can freeze your membership for up to 3 months in a 12-month period with 30 days’ notice.
Free Community Classes
- No Charge: These classes are free and open to the public. They do not count against any class passes.
Workshops
- Cancellation: If you need to cancel your workshop reservation, please do so at least 48 hours in advance to receive a full refund or credit to your account.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the workshop will not be refunded. Absences are also non-refundable.
- Workshop Cancellations by EVOLVE: If a workshop is canceled by the studio, you’ll receive a full refund or credit.
Behavior & Conduct
- Respect: EVOLVE maintains a safe and welcoming environment. Unreasonable or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated, and may result in membership cancellation without a refund.
- Class Disruptions: We encourage modifications, but excessive deviations from the class sequence may distract the teacher and other students. Please be mindful of this.
Specials & Gift Certificates
- Combining Discounts: Discounts or specials cannot be combined.
- Gift Certificates: Lost gift certificates are not the responsibility of the studio. They must be presented at the time of redemption and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Any personal information you provide will only be used to enhance your experience at EVOLVE. We do not share your personal or financial details with outside parties.
